What qualifications are required to become a QMRP? In talking to people from across the country we find that generally, it’s a Bachelor’s degree in a human service related field and one years experience in direct service with people with developmental disabilities. This comes from the federal ICFMR regulations which are cited in the attached document (See Federal Guideline Button on this page). . It is also subject to state by state interpretation.
